My name is Svetlana Telkova. I am a PSEO student at Normandale Community College. I choose this college because a friend of mine told me this is a good place to transition from high school to college. The professors are amazing at their teaching, the diversity of students is outrages, and this college offers a great support from the staff. So far I have found myself being lost in amazement and daily joy of being a college student.
The career I am choosing to major in is Nursing Assistant. I love working with people and giving my time to help them in anyone I can. The media writing class has opened another door of options I can major in when I go back to college for my second degree. This calls has inspired me to read newspapers and to write. My education level was at average in high school but ever since I entered college, my grades and knowledge has dramatically increased.
I work at Subway in Shakopee but planning to obtain a higher paying job next year for I am currently engaged and the lack of money stands in the way of having a stable financial family life. I am 17 years old and my fiancé Alex is 20 years old. The wedding is planning to be in fall of 2011.
English is my second language and I'm originally from Russia. I have lived in United States for 11 years and have gone back once, last summer, to visit my homeland. My family consists of heterosexual parents and six girls. I did have an brother that unfortunately died from suffocation five weeks after his birth. I have my family religious viewpoints that are based on Christianity. My family has a great influence on my personal character and they are they bring me joy to my life.
I would describe my personality to be very kind, generous, outgoing, and great communication skills. I try to be a very optimistic young lady that who can correlate with good leadership skills.
Hobbies I find enjoyment in are: sinning, photography, working with computers, creating videos for different occasions like weddings, and cooking
